So many birthdays this month. I think I have a friend and/or family member with a birthday everyday of the month in February! It's a little overwhelming, but also interesting, it must be that I get along best with people born under these zodiac signs. I can't go without mentioning, it is my dearest friend, Tressa Jo's Bday today. She would have been 28! WOW! 7 years ago we were in Canada, celebrating her 21st, with the love of her life, and the one and only Tony Lebowski. I appreciate that I can look back now, and be grateful for what we were so lucky to have shared, remembering the beautiful friendship rather than mourning it so frequently. Regardless, I did shed a few tears this morning. However, the tears were a mash, mash, mashing of all the emotions I have been feeling lately. Recently, a new friend entered my life, and today I had to say "good-bye", see you next time? When ever that next time will be...I have no idea, I can not foresee my future better than anyone else can their own. I hope that we cross paths again...
In addition to being grateful for my new found friends and my friends that passed, I recently was able to make amends with an old friend. Through an exchange of words we have been able to explain ourselves to each other and accept each others apologies. I am so happy to, without any fear, express my feelings, and with an open mind, understand theirs. It is a true sign, being able to communicate the way I feel, of the wisdom I have gained over the last decade.
I now anticipate my new future in the light of a new destination. I am excited for my continual growth and and will be sure to write of all that is lost and found.
